Kitchen Gadgets
A few days ago I was reading the Kitchen of the Year post on Carrots N’ Cake and it got me thinking for a couple of reasons. First, because I’ve been making a mental list of kitchen gadgets I’m going to get once we move. And, second because who would have thought I would ever be interested in kitchen gadgets! I’m a later bloomer when it comes to the kitchen and cooking, and a few years ago the only kitchen gadget I would have dreamed about is an actual personal chef. So, you see there is growth happening here :-)
So I thought it would be appropriate to make today’s list of 10 my kitchen gadget desires, listed in no particular order. Now remember, I’m a kitchen gadget newbie so don’t be too shocked I don’t have some of these yet!
A Kitchenaid mixer – need I say more?
A food processor – so I can try this banana soft serve everyone is talking about!
A garlic chopper – chop, chop, chop, I love my garlic
Popsicle molds – I used to have these but they were cheap plastic and cracked 
Rectangle plates
Square ramekins
A massive set of pots and pans that match (especially an oval pot)
A wine rack something like this. I will sacrifice a cabinet to make this happen!
And while I’m going big…
A pantry – a gadget, no. A desire? Yes
And last, but not least…
A pizza stone
I’m sure I’m missing some good ones, so let me know: What is your dream kitchen gadget (or kitchen anything!)
My current favorite kitchen gadget is my pug salt & pepper shakers :-)

I want popscicle molds, too! I can’t believe I don’t own them. But my current desire is an ice cream maker…I’m seriously dreaming about them at night! ;)
My favorite gadget that I actually own is probably my blender, which has a small food processor attachment. I use it all the time!

I think I’d shrivel up and die w/out my kitchenaid mixer…it’s such a staple in my kitchen!! I think I’m with you on going big…I need a pantry..like a REAL one! I’ve got all the cool gadgets, but they just end up sitting on the kitchen floor b/c I have NO cabinet space (I have to take them to my shelves in the basement!).

Lurvvvv the pug s&p shakers! I’m a huge fan of my kitchenaid and pizza stone, and I feel ya’ on the need for a food processor and (giant) pantry! I also really want gray granite countertops, which isn’t exactly a gadget, but kitchen loveliness nonetheless!

And my DREAM gadget is a Kitchen Aid Mixer- the pink one, only for breast cancer..I’m not a huge pink fan. Would rather have orange..but if some of the $ is going towards breast cancer than I’m all about it!

I love the PUGS! Too cute! I’d kill for a pantry like that…gorgeous!! I absolutely love my stand mixer and food processor – KitchenAid of course, because that’s who my hubby works for :) I want a pizza stone, too…and popsicle molds!

Ahhhhh I soooo want a Kitchenaid Mixer. Sigh….. I couldn’t live without my Cuisinart Processor. Love it – need 2. Thanks so much for taking the time to comment on my blog – I look forward to checking out your site now!
